To the 'Serdechko' Mineral Geyser

"To the Mineral Geyser 'Serdechko'" is a journey to Jermuk, where we've combined the most beautiful spots of the mountain resort with a real jeep adventure and a swim in a natural hot mineral spring.
The first stop is the famous "Mermaid's Hair" waterfall, one of the symbols of Jermuk.
Water descends the rocky slope in countless thin streams, creating an unusual cascade. There will be time here for a walk, photos, and getting acquainted with Jermuk's nature.
Next we head to the Arch of Dreams, one of the resort town's most beautiful panoramic viewpoints.
From here, views open onto the gorge, the mountains, and the surrounding nature. A modern tradition is connected with this spot — stopping at the arch, looking at the mountains, and making a wish.
The next point is the Mineral Water Gallery, one of the best-known places in Jermuk.
The town has long been known for its natural mineral springs. At the gallery you can taste mineral water coming from springs of different temperatures.
After getting to know resort Jermuk, the most unusual part of our journey begins.
We'll switch to off-road vehicles and head along the mountain road to the "Serdechko" mineral geyser.
The road runs through natural mountain terrain that ordinary tourist transport can't reach. So the drive itself becomes part of the adventure — off-road terrain, mountain scenery, and a completely different atmosphere far from the city.
And at the end of this road, the main event awaits us — a natural hot mineral spring under the open sky.
The geyser sits in the mountains at an altitude of over 2,100 meters above sea level. The mineral water temperature is about 32–33 °C, so you can bathe here while enjoying the cool mountain air at the same time.
The spring periodically starts to bubble — mineral water and bubbles rise from the bottom, creating the effect of a natural jacuzzi.
The shape of one of the natural pools resembles a heart, which is why this place is often called the "Serdechko" (Little Heart) geyser.
Time is set aside here for bathing in the warm mineral water, resting, and taking photos among the mountains.
The sensation is especially unusual when the air temperature in the mountains is cool while you're in warm mineral water under the open sky.
This is not a fitted-out city pool or a spa complex — it's a natural spring among the mountains, and that's exactly where its special atmosphere comes from.
After bathing and resting, we head back in the off-road vehicles and return to Yerevan.
In a single day you'll see a completely different side of Jermuk — a waterfall, mountain panoramas, famous mineral waters, and the real hot spring "Serdechko," hidden among the mountains.
This route suits those who love nature, mountains, jeep adventures, and unusual experiences.
We especially recommend it for those who want not just to see Jermuk, but to feel its main natural feature — bathing in warm mineral water right among the mountains.
The route doesn't require a long hike, though the road to the geyser crosses off-road terrain by jeep.
Bathing is optional. Those who don't want to get into the water can rest by the spring and enjoy the surrounding nature.
